One thing he hasn’t done: beat Oklahoma football in Bedlam.OU is riding a three-game winning streak in the series since Okie State’s epic overtime win in 2014. All three games have been by double-digits.That includes both games that Hill has participated in.He has had personal success against the Sooners. As a freshman, he rushed for 99 yards in the game. Last year, he had what is probably the best game of his college career. In a 62-52 loss, Hill went for a career-high 228 yards, and added two touchdowns on the ground.Ahead of this weekend’s Bedlam game at Oklahoma football, Justice Hill had some trash talk for the Sooners on Instagram. He posted a picture of one of his 2017 touchdown runs against the team, tagging defenders as “little boys” and “kids.” (He also made sure to identify the turf and the Okie State fans, in case anyone was confused). The Sooners took noticed.Sophomore cornerback Tre Brown reposted the picture to his own Instagram story. He was one of a few Sooners to address Hill’s post. From OU Daily:“Justice is really good, don’t take anything away from him, but it was just disrespect,” Brown said. “I wanted to let him know, we’re not worried about that. We’re going to play our game, do what we gotta do.”“We’ll do our talking on the field,” sophomore safety Robert Barnes added. “He’s a great running back, like I said, that’s all I got to say. We’ll do our talking on the field.”After a 1,467 yard, 15 touchdown sophomore season, Hill has 895 yards and eight scores through nine games. He’s tough to stop, but OU is a heavy 20-point favorite in Norman.[OU Daily]last_img read more
