Work and pensions secretary Andrew Smith unveiled the plans, ‘Simplicity,security and choice: Informed choices for working and saving’, which weredeveloped following the 2002 Pensions Green Paper. “Decisions about retirement are among the most important we face. Weare given a lot of information on pensions, but too often we don’t understandhow it relates to our own retirement prospects,” he said.
