Nova Scotians living in social housing will get repairs and upgrades to their homes though a $4-million investment by the provincial and federal governments. Health and safety: about $1 million will be spend on improvements such as replacing sprinklers, ensure buildings continue to meet fire regulations and upgrade fire alarms designed to warn seniors about fires.
